Ginna and David met us early in the morning at our hotel and we were on our way to Chicaque reserve. Ginna is the owner of this company and she takes care of us like we are member of her family. David was our guide for the day. He’s a biologist (so am I) and he’s very knowledgeable. He talks a lot (I’ve finally met my match!!), knows a lot of anecdotes and makes this tour very enjoyable! We would recommend this company without hesitation. As for Chicaque reserve, it’s a very beautiful place close to Bogota. A nice way to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city!

As people who always thought organized tours are impersonal and boring, a full day coffee tour changed our mind. It was professionally and expertly delivered from beginning to end. The pick up from our home in a comfortable vehicle, the breakfast stop on the way to the hacienda, the thorough tour of the hacienda, the lunch at the local restaurant, the various coffee making demonstration upon returning to Bogota and finally a lovely gift upon bidding us farewell. The tour was extremely informative and we never felt rushed. Two thumbs up for this tour company.

We visited Bogotá this week and by chance we arrived at Parche Cachaco … The best chance that could happen. My mom and I, both Mexicans, hired a tour of the city with Parche Cachaco. We had David as our guide. Everything was incredible, the itinerary, the places, the food and above all the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the entire team. The service at the module is very complete, and the constant monitoring of the tour. The route was very safe and the driver very responsible. The guide stayed with us throughout the trip and gave us a brief history of Colombian coffee. The barista cafe at the end of the tour was excellent at explaining the preparation and details.
